It’s Not Too Late To Begin

As we enter May, I want us to center our hearts on three key principles: Accountability, Obedience, and Spiritual Growth.

We are nearly halfway through 2026, and this is a gentle but necessary reminder that time does not wait for us to feel ready.

“Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity” — Ephesians 5:15–16

Many of us have made plans for the year: attended celebrations, traveled, and set personal goals, but some of us have yet to submit ourselves to Christ fully.

We have created plans without inviting Him in. We have made promises to Him that remain unfulfilled. Yet even now, there is grace. Scripture reminds us, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life” — 2 Peter 1:3

You already have what you need to begin stewarding your faith and intentionally building your relationship with Him.

Maybe you’re unsure where to start. I’ve been there. At the start of my own journey, I didn’t have all the answers, but I took a step. I joined Young Women with a Purpose, I sought community, and I began to pursue God more intentionally.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” — James 4:8

So today, I encourage you to take that step. Submit your day to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to order your steps, align your priorities, and strengthen your heart. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will make your paths straight” — Proverbs 3:5–6
